By February 4, 2022News Release

INDIANAPOLIS – The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) announced today that it will offer two $1,000 scholarship opportunities for National Charity League (NCL) members to help offset the costs of attending college. The scholarships are open to women who are NCL members in 12th grade or in their first or second year of college.

Since 2021, National Panhellenic Conference and National Charity League have partnered together to encourage civic engagement and support the development of college-bound young women in their academic pursuits. NPC participated in NCL’s 2021 Annual Leadership Conference to engage attendees, share information about the Panhellenic sorority experience, and continue to look for ways to grow the partnership.

“NPC and its member organizations strive to support the academic potential of young women,” said NPC CEO Dani Weatherford. “We are proud to grant this pair of scholarships to National Charity League members in an effort to support the academic success of women and help address the growing concern of college affordability.”

“We are so excited to expand our partnership with National Panhellenic Conference,” said Iris Swinea, director of programs for National Charity League. “Our members are grateful for this opportunity, which allows them to continue making a difference working with women-focused organizations during their college years.”

Recipients must complete an application and include their resume and a short essay by March 4, 2022. For more details and to apply, click here.
